Our challenge this week is black & white, and my original plan was simply a black and white conversion. When I started mentally going over what would make a good black and white selfie, I settled on me (pale to the point of sickly) and a little black dress (that I actually had to dust off - that's how often I wear it).
While rummaging through the closet for my sexy momma boots, I remembered that I had donated them in a wild fit of de-cluttering last year. (They were uncomfortable as hell, and I always walked like a mannequin in them anyway.) But the real problem turned out to be that I had also donated every single pair of dress-up shoes in my closet. Hmmm, I don't recall the exact thought process there, but it left me with Uggs or Converse. For living room ballet, I choose Converse:
And where'd that little black dress go? It just didn't make the crop. Maybe I should donate it too.
LOVE the living room ballet shot! Now go out & get yourself some new heels!

Your stories are awesome. I don't have any high heels or boots either - snowboots, runners and Merrels. Ha! Maybe we should go shopping together.
Love that you are actually en pointe in your chucks. :)
