This layout rolled around in my head for a year or so before I actually created it. Obviously, it's a simple design, but an important page because I wanted to showcase the people who helped to make our wedding day extra special. And this photo is too fun.
Someone asked me about the lens the photographer used for some of the photos. I know it was a fisheye - not certain which kind.
I had the photo of the wedding party enlarged to 11" x 17" at Costco, and split it right down the middle (the photo was almost perfect to halve). Because I taught this in a class situation and I wasn't sure how computer saavy my students would be, I had them print out the title and names of their wedding party on vellum, which we overlaid on the photo and accented with rhinestone brads.
Had I completed this at home strictly for myself, I think I would have just added the title in Photoshop and printed it directly and not messed with the vellum. But as it turned out, it added another layer of texture, which added some interest on a page that doesn't have a whole lot of detail.
Supplies: Patterned paper, frills: Doodlebug Designs (floral), Luxe Designs (stripes), ribbon: Wal-mart, rhinestone brads: Making Memories
I just love looking at your wedding pics & the BEATUIFUL way you scrapped them!
